Stakeholders meeting in St Kitts and Nevis supported by EEB/ZMWG

In September 2021, the EEB/ZMWG entered into an agreement with the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis to assist in developing a draft ‘roadmap’ towards phasing out mercury added products, consistent with Article 4 of the Minamata Convention  As part of this initiative,  a draft   Resolution in Support of Transitioning to Mercury-free Lamps for General Purpose Lighting and a Mercury-free Health Care Resolution has been shared  with the national mercury focal point and relevant stakeholders. As a follow up to this work, EEB /ZMWG, supported the organisation and participated in a stakeholder meeting in St. Kitts in March 2023 . The meeting was well attended and the stakeholders participated actively.
