Intersessional work and submissions for COP-7
The Conference of the Parties had its sixth meeting from 03 to 07 November 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland, and agreed on a number of action items in preparation of the COP-7. Relevant intersessional documents can be consulted on the dedicated webpage of the Minamata Convention on Mercury.
ZMWG input to the intersessional period:
- Decision MC-5/14 on Effectiveness Evaluation: Comments on the draft scientific report of the OESG
- Decision MC-6/2 on the Trade of Mercury Compounds: ZMWG is part of the open-ended expert group on compounds. The group is mandated to consider the information in the report on the global supply, production, trade and use of mercury compounds and the information submitted by Parties and stakeholders.
