What's on in the regions Print

This section of the website provides the opportunity to member NGOs from the ZMWG to describe their activities and work on mercury.

The NGO members of the Zero Mercury Working Group from around the world, have been and are continuously carrying out activities related to mercury. These vary from awaireness raising campaigns, specific reports and studies or even demonstration projects - in view of contributing to the NGO's global objectives towards a robust mercury treaty on mercury.

The EEB/ZMWG has been supporting financially (and technically) a few NGOs from developing countries for national activities as well as participation at international level, to assist in the global campaign. More information on these projects can be found under the 'Projects' section. The countries where projects have been supported financially by the EEB/ZMWG are marked with an orange dot on the map below.

The countries with a red dot, show ZMWG member NGO's projects and work on mercury which have not been funded directly by ZMWG - but are also contributing to our global efforts.

Under the EU 27 button you can find information on all Mercury Policies at EU level (EU 27), as well as the work in progress on policy developments as relevant.
